Stucco and stone is installed directly over the existing siding - wood, brick, concrete or metal, offering minimum inconvenience to the homeowner. First a black 'paper' water barrier is applied, followed by 17-guage wire mesh - or the wire can be installed over a layer of sheet foam for additional insulation. A base coat of stucco is applied and left to cure for seven days. The finish coat of stucco is skillfully applied by trowel, in a texture selected by the customer. The entire process takes about two weeks. |
